FUN FRIDAY!!!

The morning began with a new shape/color puzzle & manipulatives. We also had turns riding the tricycle, pulling and riding in the wagon.
The afternoon began with fun Friday. The children had free choice play time. They look forward to this time all week!
We enjoyed singing the ABC's & counting with the shakey eggs this morning. We also listened carefully and followed direction about
how & where to shake our eggs.
After we completed the calendar in the afternoon, we counted all the way to 50, using the shakey eggs. We practiced reading our names in lower case letters.
Miss Kathy shared a book that had us finding different shapes.
This morning we played a game called, "Can you?" Miss Kathy could jump, gallop, stand on one foot, kick a ball,run, crawl & slither like a snake.

Miss Julie played a listening game with us in the morning. We looked for big and small bears, books, boxes and balls. We practiced using sentences to tell our friends what we had.
In the afternoon we worked in small groups to find rhyming pairs.
We played a game with Miss Julie, in the afternoon, where we worked on the concept "behind". We got to watch the video we made yesterday & shared with you at the top of the blog.
We had a fun Friday, after a great week.
