Miss Kathy, Do Not Read!

Today we had Miss Corrine visit out class. She was filling in for Miss Kathy.  She brought her guitar and we had a lot of fun learning some new songs and singing some old ones.

 

 

 Then Miss Melani came and we played a fun game where we got to throw a ball through a big, red Valentine's Day heart to a friend on the other side.

 

 

 

 

After our movement activity we talked more about feelings.  We read a book called "Happy Hippo, Angry Duck" and we made felt faces that showed

happy

 

 

sad

 

 

angry

 

 

scared

 

 

and disgusted.

 

 

 

 

 

Here is the secret part: We made a big Valentine's Day card for Miss Kathy and we all signed our names.  It will be a big surprise!

 

 

 Then we ate snack. What a day!!
