HEARTS EVERYWHERE!!!

We started our day by working puzzles and reading books.

It helped us get ready to learn.

At circle, we sang our songs about shapes and the ABC's. The afternoon class completed the calendar. Miss Kathy got some new laser finger pointers that we can use to touch the letters as we sing the ABC's. We love them!

Miss Kathy read a book about Valentine's. It was funny. We were glad when hippo found her Valentine!

The lion said, "ROAR!!"

Our project today was to make a Mr. or Miss Heart. We learned to make accordian folds (fold and flip). We colored and glued the parts together. We will bring them home tomorrow when the glue is dry.

                                         

                                                     

At snack, we had a special treat...heart shaped pink marshmallows!

Tomorrow we will celebrate Valentine's Day together. Please make sure that you send in the cards for classmates AND the special card from you to your sweetheart.
