Back to school...for a short week!

It is Fiesta de los Vaqueros in Tucson. There is no school on Thursday or Friday this week. If the weather permits, the Rodeo Parade on Thursday morning can be lots of fun! We will learn a little about cowboys this week,

in honor of our rodeo.

We started our day with something new - bean bags. We sat in small circles and played a bean bag passing game. We worked on paying attention to the bean bag, staying ready and crossing our mid-line to pass the bean bags.

Miss Shari led us in our circle songs and Miss Cindy read a book about cowboys. Miss Yvonne took us into the hallways where we did some large motor work on scooters. Can you gallop like a horse?

The morning class worked on building and drawing some shapes. In the afternoon we worked on letter writing.

 

 

 

Another special, full of love, Valentine arrived in the mail.

McKaylah was so happy!
