We had a happy day!

We had fun exploring with some new shapes. Some of us worked at the tables and some of us at the light table. Tomorrow we will trade places and continue exploring shapes.

  

Miss Julie brought a fun tool for us to use as we practiced

our speech sounds & words.

  

We sang our circle songs, practiced some snowflake patterns and the afternoon class completed the calendar. Then Miss Kathy read a book about some sleeping animals that woke up to sniff & run...

What did they find?

We worked on our writing skills today. The morning class practiced writing the numbers 1 to 5 on some mittens. We then cut and ordered the numbers. (They came home all stapled together but it would be great if you unstapled them and played some games where the kids practice fuinding or putting them in order.) The afternoon class worked on letter "F" in their school books. Nice efforts and beautiful results!

 

We tried a new snack today...Garden Veggie Straws. Every one of the kids liked them! Most asked for more :)

Any day that ends with play time, is a HAPPY day!
