Together again...

 

We had fun playing outside, with our friends, when we arrived at school today!
 

 

The morning circle was fun, as we welcomed a new friend to class!

We sang some color songs, the ABC song and the shape song. We

 did some name work, too. We played a fun "matching" game using gingerbread

men with shapes on their tummies. It was exciting when we had the one

 that was "the same" as Miss Kathy's!

 

 

The afternoon class sang the ABC song and color songs. We completed

the calendar lesson and counted how many days left until Christmas.

(There are 23...) Miss Kathy introduced us to the correct formation of the letters "T" & "I". We will be writing them in our school books this week. We, also, played a quick matching game using the gingerbread shape cookies.
 

 

It was time for a movement break! The morning class had fun,

with the ribbons, moving slow & fast! The afternoon class got

 funky with a fun song called, "Let's Dance."

 

 

Miss Kathy told us that we were going to have a fun Christmas Party

for our families on Thursday, December 18 (details to follow)! We will sing

 some favorite Christmas songs. We started learning Jingle Bells today. She, also, told us that we would be making a fun video to share with you at

the party. Our video will be (loosely) based on a couple of Christmas stories,

 so we read the books today.
 

 

The morning kiddos each got some gingerbread men with the letters of their name. They cut, ordered and glued them onto a paper.
 

 

The afternoon kiddos, also, got gingerbread men. They got to write the numerals 1-10 on them. Then cut, order and glue them on paper.

The morning class enjoyed cupcakes with the Birthday King!

We have a very busy two and a half weeks left of school.
