Busy, busy, busy...

Our day began with outside recess.
What a great way to ease back into our week.

We sang our Christmas songs at circle.
The afternoon class also completed the calendar.

We worked on some of our gross motor skills today. In the morning we
balanced on one foot, hopped and side stepped with a friend.
The afternoon class worked on galloping and hopping.

Miss Kathy shared a fun, interactive book about some beautiful decorations.
We all helped get the correct light bulb, as we listened to the story.
There is lots of repetition in this book and we were starting to remember
the words to say along with Miss Kathy!

The morning class practiced tracing the numerals 1-5 on Christmas trees.
Then they, colored, cut, ordered and glued them on a strip of paper.
Look for them in our backpacks!

The afternoon class wrote the numerals 1-10 on their 10 trees.
They also colored their trees. Some children did not finish their coloring,
so they could do that at home. They could also cut their trees apart &
 practice ordering them.

Our costumes are ready, we've practiced our lines and Miss Julie has
the film rolling! There is also a Santa's Workshop this week, as we are taking
turns making a special gift for some special people!

Please, remember to R.S.V.P. with the number of people attending our Christmas Party!
Thanks!!
