RAIN!!
It sure was exciting!

Our morning started with fine motor work! We pulled and poked putty
and enjoyed stringing small beads.

Our afternoon began with some partner ABC work. We ordered the
capital letters (using a model to match), then some of us matched the
lower case letters to the capitals.

We sang our songs and did some name work in morning circle.

In the afternoon circle, we sang our songs, did some name work and
completed the calendar lesson.

In preparation for our video shoot next week, Miss Kathy re-read our books.
We each practiced saying our lines! We practiced singing our Christmas
songs that we will be performing for you.

We had a fun movement break with jumping, rocking and crawling!

The morning students enjoyed making patterns with colored ornaments.
In fact, there was a request to "do it again"! Then we sat down to make our own patterns. We traced circles & crosses using two colors to make an AB pattern!

In the afternoon, we did some number work with gingerbread men. We identified numbers 0-10, read color words to color requested number and carefully traced the circle and colored it in. Our gingerbread men are cute enough to hang up as a decoration on your refrigerator!
