FUN FRIDAY!

 

Our morning began with a BIG sort!

Miss Kathy dumped out all the dinosaurs and all of the transportation toys! What a mess! We helped Miss Kathy clean up the toys by sorting them by color. And next, Miss Kathy dumped them all on the floor again! Then, we sorted them by type of toy. We had fun and got them all sorted and cleaned up for Miss Kathy!
 

 

 

 

Our afternoon began with free choice play! What a fun time we have when we get to play with our friends!
 

 

We sang our ABC's and our shape song this morning.

 

We completed the calendar in the afternoon. Miss Kathy showed us a pattern made with different colors of cats.

 

We enjoyed 2 books today. The first book was about a Momma cat & her 3 kittens. The next book showed us photos of what a kitten likes to do.

The kitten can roll...we can roll, too!
 

 

 

 

Miss Julie went shopping at the pet store. She brought in her purchases to show us. We had to look & listen to her clues to figure out which pets she has at home. We are pretty good detectives! Half of the afternoon class completed this activity. The other will complete it next week.

 

 In the afternoon, Miss Kathy gave half of us a strip of paper with some cats on it. We colored the cats to make our own patterns! We made an ABC pattern with three different colors.

 

The morning class had time for free play!

 

Watermelon was a juicy, sweet snack!
