FUN FRIDAY !!
TIP *You can click on a picture to see it in a larger version*
We put our hands in slippery stuff, gooey stuff and wet stuff today! Some of us are not too sure about touching some of this stuff, but will tolerate a gentle invitation. We all like the water!

Miss Kathy had help ringing the bell this morning!

We all put our hands up and "Stop, look and listen'" when the bell rings!

We gathered at the circle rug to sing and count together. We also practiced reading our names and checking to see who came to school.

We practiced our jumping with both feet and had fun
shaking our sillies out with Raffi!

Miss Kathy shared the big book about the bear and shapes again.

In the morning, we worked as a team to build Mat Man with the wooden lines and curves. Doesn't he look great?

In the afternoon, we listened to a song and watched Miss Kathy draw some shapes. We can turn shapes into many things. We practiced drawing and coloring some shapes on a paper.

Our yummy apple and popcorn snack made us all happy!
Happy trails to you on this Labor Day weekend!

Fun at school...

We used tongs to pick up small items when we arrived in class today. It was tricky, but we figured it out. This is a nice fine motor and visual perceptual skill exercise, and it's fun! We enjoyed having Miss Elaine join us!

We sang our RED song. We were introduced to a new color song...BLUE!

We enjoyed moving our bodies and blue scarves fast and slow.

Miss Kathy shared a book about a bear and all of the places he goes during his week with the morning class.

In the afternoon, Miss Cindy shared a book about shapes that the bear can find.

We also worked with our wooden lines and curves again today. We made different shapes with them.

There was some time to play and enjoy a yummy snack of apples and peanut butter crackers before we went home!
