Christmas Trees...

Today started with a fun sensory experience. We played in moon sand in the sensory table. We also had fun exploring at the light table. Miss Kathy called some of us over to practice our scissor skills. Everyone will have a turn by the end of the week. In the afternoon we practiced writing our names.

We completed our circle songs and calendar. We took turns to share something special about our Thanksgiving weekend.

Miss Kathy shared a book with us about all the pretty colors of Christmas lights. We will read this book all week and play different games with it, too!

We enjoyed helping Corduroy, the bear, get ready for Christmas,
in a lift-the-flap book. He does many of the same things to get ready for the holiday that we do at our homes!

The morning class practiced our fine motor skills by coloring 3 little Christmas trees. We peeled 3 stars from their paper and placed
one on the "top" of each tree.

The afternoon class practiced writing the numbers 1-12 on our trees.
 We got 12 stars!!

It was fun to be back at school learning with our friends!
