We had fun building tall towers with cubes and stringing letter beads or pop beads when we arrived. Lots of fine motor work!
We sang our circle songs and the afternoon class completed
their calendar work.
We went back to our nursery rhyme book and re-read Old Mother Hubbard. Then Miss Kathy read a story about what Old Mother Hubbard and her dog did next! Pretty silly rhymes!
The morning class practiced identifying and ordering numerals. Then we counted sets to see how many in all.
The afternoon class worked on finding rhyming pairs. Then they cut and glued matching pairs together.
We enjoyed some play time outside this morning!!
As Ben said, "This snack is yummy!" The kids enjoyed spreading almond butter on saltine crackers today.
