FUN FRIDAY....
We had a fun day today. We practiced ordering the letters of our names and then we wrote our names. We can practice writing our names many times on the weekend using the same paper from school. We call it rainbow writing. Just choose a different color of marker or crayon to trace right over the letters. Remember we ALWAYS start our capital letters at the top and they need to bump the line at the bottom.

We also practiced our ABC's with shake eggs.

We practiced building patterns.

Miss Julie read a book to us today about animals and the way they move and where they sleep. Brandon said,"That was a good book."
 They were great listeners!

Butterflies flit...

Skunks skulk ...

Bears slumber...

Dogs pant...

Squirrels climb...

Hares walk in deep snow...

Chipmunks scamper...

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND WITH YOUR LITTLE CRITTERS!!!

It was a squirrely day...

We learned a lot about those furry little creatures today! (Abi pointed out that there are "beautiful colors" in this book.)

Did you know that squirrels can swim?
Did you know that squirrels wrap their tails around themselves when asleep?
Did you know that squirrels gather nuts in the fall and hide them so they have food to eat in winter? Because they don't have hands, they carry the nuts in their cheeks...

We also did some nice stretching today. Touch your head and shoulders, knees and toes....

We hope Philip is feeling better today! We miss you!!

We had a great day today.
We started the day working on our fine motor skills by stacking blocks and lacing cards.

Then we worked on our gross motor skills with Ms. Melani.
She set up an awesome obstacle course for us.

Next, we read a book about an apple tree and how it made friends.

For snack we had pretzels and ate applesauce---with a straw!
Can you imagine the slurping?

Hey, the morning kids are getting really good at lining up!

We are number one!

WHAT DO TURKEYS DO?

Well, when they arrive at school, they warm up their fingers and brains, so they are ready to learn.

They learn about what all good turkeys do... spread your tail feathers, peck on the ground to find food, flap your wings to fly and take a dirt bath by rolling on the ground!

And, turkeys love a good story!

Of course, turkeys love to celebrate birthdays!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ABI!!

ATTENTION AFTERNOON FAMILIES:
I APOLOGIZE THAT I HAVE NO PICTURES FROM YOUR CHILD'S CLASS TODAY. BATTERIES DIED...

HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING.
