We had a fun, new experience in class today...a parachute! Both the AM & PM children loved playing parachute. They didn't even know that we were reviewing the spatial concepts of up, down and under. Then Ms. Kathy did a trick and made the parachute fly!
We are learning about colors through songs. Whatever your childs' skills are with colors, we are taking them one step farther. The songs help with identifying colors, learning to read the color words, identifying letters & saying sentences that name objects & their color. So far we are practicing the songs about red, blue & yellow.
Today we enjoyed the story, If You Take A Mouse To School, by Laura Numeroff. Some of the children recognized this story from home.
For snack we enjoyed bagels with a cinnamon & sugar spread. The AM class didn't like the spread much (except Abi, who loved it), but it was a big hit with everyone in the PM class.
There are no pictures today because our camera batteries fizzled out...sorry!
I thought Abi smelt like cinnamon and sugar.
